The last 10 photos of the pieces featured in this blog post were part of an organised event to brighten up the Sheffield Antiques Quarter, the vision was the brainchild of Hendrika Stevens with a little (a lot) help from Kisk (Smashproof), coordinating artists. I wasn’t able to go on the day, but many others did. The event was such a success, they are doing it again in September this year.

Two faces, two very different styles, like them both, no idea who did either of them.

Got an invite to a ‘One Night Only’ Pop up shop, showcasing the art of Bob. I am a big fan , wasn’t going to miss it, and it was perfect, held in a derelict shop which added a gritty ambience to the event. The prices were very reasonable and I could have happily brought most of what was on display home with me. But I forced myself to settle for the piece above, and a few months later was lucky enough to acquire the piece below, which I absolutely adore as the dog in the painting is the absolute double of my girl Stella  🙂
